One instructor from South Georgia is working to make students’ educational experiences more joyful and welcoming. Children look forward to her classes regularly because of her unique approach to embracing everyone.

Jamie Judy devised a technique to personalize the students’ welcomes to provide the sense that the school is a more enjoyable, entertaining, and friendly environment.

“When the children walk in, they get to select one way to welcome me, and I answer with whatever they’ve chosen,” Judy told me.

Jamie’s students may give her a hug, fist bump, or dance with her in response to an idea she discovered on Pinterest and adapted from there.

In addition, children have three more meal options daily.

When questioned why she chose to utilize the unconventional welcome manner with her pupils, Judy explained that her kids are like members of her family, and she wanted the classroom to feel friendly and loving.

As a result, obtaining them in the morning is both unique and significant.
