This remark may appear strange, but we have the perfect illustration. Lance Corporal Myles Kerr had planned to run the 5k at the Venetian Festival in Charlevoix eight years ago.

He made sure to prepare for the occasion, which may include an image of six people and words.

He even donned boots and had a bag.

Kerr began strong.
So it’s understandable that everyone was waiting for him to complete and win the race. However, several minutes had gone by, and there was still no sign of him.

That is not characteristic of the young, strong, and healthy Kerr. So his teammates grew concerned.

They wondered what had happened to him. He might have fallen or sustained injuries.

They quickly became frustrated with the wait and returned to the course to see what had happened to Kerr. Before they started, they noticed Kerr approaching the finish line.

He was joined by a small child.
Kerr eventually opted to withdraw from the race to assist a young kid.

While running, Kerr observed a youngster running alone.

“He was walking when I ran by him,” Kerr recounted. “I glanced at him and asked, ‘Hey, little man, are you alright?’ And he asked, ‘Will you run with me?'”

The friendly marine discovered that the 9-year-old child was already having difficulty keeping up with his group.

Unfortunately, he had slipped behind and did not know what to do.

Kerr came to his rescue.

Boden Fuchs was a small kid looking for a jogging buddy, and Kerr came up. Despite the potential loss of the race’s top spot, Kerr agreed.

Kerr, a marine, dedicates himself to helping those in need, and the youngster was one of them. He agreed to follow the youngster and even encouraged him during the race.

Fuchs considered dropping out of the event several times.
