On the Internet, a photo from an airport showing a mother using her phone as her newborn is left on the ground covered in a blanket has sparked outrage. The young mother faced a lot of anger online for leaving her newborn on the floor, treating it like luggage, and instead preferring to sit on the phone.
Albert Einstein’s famous quote, “I fear the day when technology will be more important than interpersonal relationships,” accompanied the photograph that went viral online. Around the globe, a new generation of fools is about to emerge.
Although she looks to be a crazed mother at first glance, the reason for the woman’s abandonment of her kid on the ground will make us question our inclination to judge others only on their appearance.
When the image, which was taken without her permission, went viral online, harsh remarks such as “You are a distorted mother!” began to surface. The mother chose to be honest, stating, “You sit on the phone, the baby at your feet, and you don’t care about him.”
Molly Lensing, a pediatric nurse with two other children at home, and her two-month-old daughter experienced a more than 20-hour delay at the Colorado airport following the cancellation of their flight.
“After spending too many hours in her stroller, Anastasia was exhausted, and my hands were sore from carrying my bags and cuddling with her.” On television, Molly stated, “I had to tell all the family members where we were, and he needed a place to lay down.”
The woman also stated that she found her photo flying around the Internet a few months after her horrible experience at the Colorado airport. Molly began receiving abusive comments on Facebook when a few online users recognized her identity. While some called her “a terrible mother,” others supported her.
“I felt as if someone had violated my privacy. Because I work at a pediatric clinic, I was worried that my boss or a coworker would see the photo and fire me. Fortunately, Molly Lensing confirmed that this did not happen.
