Teenage Amanda Bynes was once a global celebrity. However, when her mental condition worsened, the rising young actress withdrew from television and film.

The actress has recently spoken openly about her battles with substance abuse. She characterized her post-acting existence as “just stuck at home, getting high, watching TV, and tweeting,” adding, “I got really into my drug usage, and it became a really dark, sad world for me.”

At the time, Bynes stated, “I’ve been sober for almost four years now,” and thanked her parents for “really helping me get back on track.”

Lynn and Rick Bynes, her parents, supported her decision to leave her conservatorship. Since 2013, the former child star has been under conservatorship. In 2017, her guardianship over the property expired.

In a statement issued by her lawyer David Esquibias on March 22, 2022, Bynes remarked, “I have been working hard to improve my health so that I can live and work independently, and I will continue to prioritize my well-being in this next chapter.” Regarding regaining control of her life, the actress added, “I am excited about my upcoming endeavors—including my fragrance line—and look forward to sharing more when I can.”

Judge Roger Lund of the Ventura Superior Court dissolved the conservatorship, finding that there were no longer “grounds for the establishment of a conservatorship of the person.”

However, everything fell apart last year. They placed the actress on a 72-hour mental hold after she requested emergency assistance. “She hasn’t been in contact with her family for quite some time,” said a person familiar with the issue at the time.

On March 19, people observed the actress walking around Los Angeles streets naked. To get help, she waved down a passing automobile and contacted 911 herself.

The actress apparently told the driver that she had been recovering from a mental crisis. She was then taken to the local police station, where personnel determined she needed to be placed on a 5150 mental hold.

The actress has not made news since the 2023 episode, until now. Amanda Bynes looks to have changed, judging by recent photographs of her.

Last week, people spotted the 38-year-old former child star, who sported jet-black hair and exceptionally long nails.

She wore khaki shorts and an oversized gray t-shirt. She completed her look by putting a crossbody purse on her shoulder.

The former actress, who chopped her hair late last year because she was dissatisfied with how it was “growing out so awkwardly,” said in March of this year that she was “going to start wearing wigs now.”

She has already mentioned how her dissatisfaction this year caused her to gain a lot of weight, and she hopes to lose more than 50 pounds to attain her desired weight target.

When photographs of her new look leaked online, several remarks were unflattering. One individual remarked, “Very disturbing.” She’s transformed into a monster. Someone else said, “People are turning into the White Walkers.”

Others were upset by the image and the nasty words. “This should never have made it onto the Internet,” one person wrote. This woman is facing a terrible mental health crisis. You deserve such disgrace. Give her a space.

Another person supported Bynes, adding, “My heart hurts for her.” Another user had a similar sentiment: “Please stop posting Amanda; she’s had enough scrutiny and hurt in her life.” “I wish the internet would leave her alone.” She has had enough pain.
