People are shocked after recognizing Billie Eilish’s mother

Normally, when someone has a renowned father, it is rather obvious.
Whether they work in the same field or have a recognized last name, you can generally tell whether someone is a repo-baby.

However, fans have just discovered that Billie Eilish’s mother is not only well-known but also played an important role in one of the most popular video game series ever.

While it never surprises me when a singer or actor’s parents have blue names on Wikipedia, this was not what I expected for Eilish.

This revelation comes only one day after the Oscar and Grammy-winning singer snubbed the VMAs, despite having four nominations.

Dexerto announced the discovery on Twitter, and admirers were stunned.

According to the popular viral tale, “Billie Eilish’s mom was in Mass Effect 2 as Samara.”

Her mother, Maggie Baird, voiced the character in Mass Effect 2 and had a minor part in Mass Effect 3.

With a Metacritic score of 96 percent, Mass Effect 2 stands as one of the most critically acclaimed games of the decade.

It’s what Eilish is known for, and her mother is a famous voice actor, so the responses surprised fans.

One admirer tweeted, “I knew she was a nepo baby,” while another wrote, “That’s cool and random AF, lol.”

Others, however, disputed the assertion that she was a ‘nepo baby’.

Baird’s most notable part was in the Mass Effect series, and her only other prominent appearance was in Friends.

She also appeared as a casting director for an advertisement in the episode when Joey has a hernia.

Patrick O’Connell, Eilish’s father, was an actor who only had tiny appearances in Iron Man and The West Wing.

Billie previously discussed her parents’ jobs, telling Rolling Stone: “Acting is extremely odd.” You could work for years, be the best in the world, and never get a job, or you could be average, audition once, and become a tremendous celebrity.

For years, I saw my parents beat up over the fact that they didn’t have it better.”

She went on: “And it drove me mad—because they were so amazing! My father is the finest actor I have ever seen.” My mother can perform all these voices and characters; she’s wonderful. So, I wish they had received more recognition.

“I actually want to make a movie and put things in it—I’ve never told anyone that.”

As a huge fan of Mass Effect, a Billie Eilish film featuring Samara’s voice actor seems like a dream.
