At 5, this shy boy first witnessed a toilet flush. At 66, he’s a famous millionaire and TV star

Despite hailing from a low-income family, this boy had outstanding goals that he truly believed in.

Despite several hurdles, he never gave up on his ambitions and was successful in realizing them.

Today, the boy is a well-known comedian, a popular TV personality, a talented writer, and a prosperous businessman.

This small African-American youngster had a strong desire to be on television from a young age. His life philosophy was to set big objectives and be confident in his eventual accomplishment. Thus, despite his impediment, the boy held onto his dream of appearing on television.

The kid was born on January 17, 1957, in Welch, West Virginia, to Sunday school teacher Eloise Vera Harvey and coal miner Jesse Harvey. Cleveland, Ohio, was the boy’s boyhood home, and he still has strong affections for the city.

The boy’s route to success was not easy, but he never gave up on his aspirations. When he was ten years old, he scribbled on a piece of paper that he would one day appear on television. At the age of 38, he made his television debut. He is currently a radio host, entrepreneur, philanthropist, motivational speaker, Emmy Award-winning entertainer, and New York Times best-selling book.

Despite all odds, the youngster has achieved success. Despite his parents’ poverty, he never let that deter him from pursuing his aspirations. His father was a coal miner who earned $5 a day and had five children. Until the age of sixteen, the child worked on his grandpa and uncle’s West Virginia farm. He shared a story:

I grew up in extreme poverty, was homeless, and had failed out of school. I spent three years living in my vehicle. At the age of 38, I acquired a secondhand automobile, which was the first vehicle registered in my name.

Because his family was so poor, the child was only five years old when he first saw a proper toilet with a flush. Nonetheless, the youngster found success. If he was successful, he would thank God and praise His name. As a well-known figure today, the youthful artist honors his promise to God by thanking his audience at the end of each performance.

When he was homeless and hiding in a hotel toilet to clean up, he realized he was at the lowest point of his life.
This boy’s mother taught him the importance of dressing neatly and caring for one’s appearance, as well as how to accept God. The boy’s siblings said that he behaves just like his father, and that his mother is a gentle, nonjudgmental angel.

Now, other people with speech problems look up to the child. This teenager informed me that he used to stutter terribly, but that he now encourages others by stating that it is curable and that they, too, can live normal lives if they receive the proper help. The boy who was poor and stuttering is now a well-known billionaire.

Steve Harvey is the story of a poor youngster who became wealthy. Steve’s comic career began in 1985, when he startled the audience with a performance at an open mic comedy night. He quit his job the next day to pursue a career as a comedian, but this choice prompted him to separate from his wife. The comedian learned that he was living on as little as $50 per week with no job or wife.

Steve began his professional comedy career at the age of 27, having resigned his job to follow his humorous goals. He admitted that he lived as a homeless person in his car between the ages of 30 and 33. He now motivates people to never give up on their dreams by sharing his own path of hardship and success.

Steve did not even own the car he lived in. It was an old, secondhand car that his father had given him. Steve used the earnings from his television appearance to buy a vehicle when he was 38 years old. He recalled that he had nothing when he was homeless, but that he now supports himself.

Despite his dedication and perseverance, Steve remained skeptical about his chances of success. Although he had always hoped to overcome poverty and misery, his achievements had far surpassed his greatest hopes. He responded, “My imagination didn’t even go this big.”

Steve remembers how close he was to quitting. When he was homeless and hiding in a hotel toilet to clean up, he realized he was at the lowest point of his life. He grabbed a seat and started crying, but something pushed him to go on. Steve saw this as God’s voice informing him that he would bring him to an unexplored land.

Not long after this difficult period, Steve began to receive chances. His triumph in a national comedy competition in 1990 landed him a high-profile role in 1993, first on “Showtime at the Apollo,” then on a sitcom.

From then on, new possibilities opened up for the comic. He is now known as Hollywood’s busiest man, a television regular who hosts his show. In terms of family, Steve is content with his wife and lives a meaningful life.

Steve and Marjorie Harvey are married. When he first met Marjorie in 1987 at a Memphis comedy club, he was astonished. Steve gave Marjorie an odd look when she came late for the concert, but he said, “I don’t know who you are, but I’m going to marry you one day.”

However, following their initial encounter, the two lost communication. A mutual acquaintance reunited them years later, and they have been together ever since. After a year of dating, the comedian asked Marjorie to marry him. The pair married on June 25, 2007.

On their fifteenth wedding anniversary, Steve told Marjorie that she had provided him tranquility and contentment. He went on to explain that Marjorie was a better parent than he was and handled motherhood admirably. “Without God’s grace, you are the main reason I am where I am today.” He said, You’re the one.”

Steve’s family, which includes seven children and seven grandchildren, is currently his greatest accomplishment. He previously stated on Facebook that the reason he gets out of bed in the morning is for his grandchildren, as a family man. Steve has passionately and happily created a home and family life with Marjorie.
