With the America’s Got Talent season 19 finals only a few weeks away, it’s only appropriate to discuss some outstanding talents competing for the victory. Fans have ideas for the dancing ensemble AIRFOOTWORKS, and they want to see them win the coveted championship!
The August 20 edition of the NBC competition series featured AIRFOOTWORKS competing for a spot in the semi-finals. The previous Japan’s Got Talent finalists stepped to the stage to perform a moving performance to Ed Sheeran’s “Celestial,” adding to their celebration of developing dance movements while in the air. AIRFOOTWORKS received a standing ovation from the audience, while judges Heidi Klum, Simon Cowell, Sofía Vergara, and Howie Mandel praised their performance. Furthermore, Simon made a risky move by awarding them a Golden Buzzer to attend the season finale, despite the fact that Howie was the only one who still had one.
“Terry, I am just about to get myself fired,” Simon said dramatically to presenter Terry Crews as he leaned across to press Howie’s Golden Buzzer.
“Simon wants to take the credit.” “Howie, this was your Golden Buzzer!” Terry responded as Howie exclaimed, “This is mine!” “This is mine.”
Despite the group’s unexpected turn of events, fans were unanimous in their support for AIRFOOTWORKS’ inclusion in the season finale.
“The best act of the night, by far,” one user remarked on YouTube. “They could win it all.” “One of the most incredible masterpieces ever. I cannot get enough of this.” Another person praised the challenge, the ingenuity, and the faultless performance. “They earned the Golden Buzzer because that was incredible!” Another fan remarked, “That was one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen in any of these shows.”
While it’s unclear if AIRFOOTWORKS will win AGT season 19, the dancing team may face one more competitor. Fans also praised another contender, Richard Goodall, whose rendition of Michael Bolton’s “How Am I Supposed to Live Without You” advanced him to the season’s semi-final round.
