Jennifer Garner is revealing some “nerdy farm facts!”
On Sunday, Aug. 25, the 52-year-old actress posted an Instagram video of herself working in her pumpkin patch and offered advice on how to produce the food.
“Nerdy farm facts,” she added, wearing dungarees over a T-shirt and holding a yellow flower. “This flower is both male and female.”
“There’s a pistol inside, and it needs pollen,” she said. “Do you know who takes care of it? Bees! ” Thanks to the bees!”
“Once the pollen falls onto the pistol in the middle, the miracle continues,” according to Garner.
“It can start to grow,” the 13 Going on 30 actress added. This is when you receive the email that says, ‘Congratulations, Mama Pumpkin.’ “Your baby is about the size of a large grape.”
“It keeps growing and growing,” Garner stated as she proceeded to show the blossom to the camera. “This curls and dries off.”
Picking up a pumpkin, she explained, “Sometimes it doesn’t. It’s like a small umbilical cord; it’s bizarre.”
“‘Dear Mama, congratulations,'” Garner said, holding up two unripe pumpkins. “Today, your pumpkins are a nice size B.” And they keep growing and developing until they turn into large, magnificent pumpkins.”

Farmer Garner then ended the video with a glimpse of her seated among enormous, ripe pumpkins.
“Nerdy Farm Facts: Pumpkins. 🤓👩🌾🎃,” her caption said.
Garner’s geeky agricultural facts come after she claimed she had a major worry during her vacation to Japan last month.
She tweeted a photo of herself eating ramen noodles, as well as another of an oyster farmer gathering shellfish in nets.
“The triumph of the former picky eater,” the actress remarked, taking a chunk of abalone.
The description accompanying the video then stated, “Honor the life forces that feed us.”
