Justin and Hailey Bieber are keeping their family name alive!

The couple announced the birth of their newborn son, Jack Blues Bieber, on Friday, August 23, following the adorable Bieber family tradition of christening him ‘JB.’

“WELCOME HOME JACK BLUES BIEBER,” Juston, 30, posted on Instagram, beside a close-up image of the baby’s foot. Hailey, 27, reshared the image on Instagram Stories, adding a bear and blue love emoji.

Since the singer shares initials with his father, Jeremy Bieber, and some of his brothers, Justin’s family has been calling their child ‘JB’ for several generations.

Justin’s half-sister Jazmyn Bieber, 16, and half-brother Jaxon Bieber, 14, share the same initials. Jeremy and his ex-wife Erin Wagner have two children together.

In addition, the singer named his baby Jack after his father’s middle name as a touching tribute.

Justin’s father, Jeremy, and mother, Pattie Mallette, separated a few months before his birth in 1994.

Justin’s mother, Pattie, tweeted, “Congratulations @justinbieber & Hailey on the birth of your son.” I love you forever, baby Jack!!”

Hailey’s father, Stephen Baldwin, reshared Mallette’s tweet, adding, “Amen, congratulations to you, and may God continue to bless our family.”

Justin and Hailey announced they were expecting a child together in May. A representative for Hailley told people that the model was just over six months pregnant when the announcement was made.

The pair initially married in a New York City courtroom in September 2018. The couple then held a larger ceremony with relatives and friends in Bluffton, South Carolina.

In a recent interview with W Magazine, Hailey admitted that keeping her pregnancy a secret was difficult emotionally. “I probably could have kept it hidden until the end,” the supermodel told the site.

Hailey expressed concern about not being able to enjoy her pregnancy publicly and feeling like she was keeping a major secret, which did not feel good. I wanted to be able to live my life freely.

On August 3, Justin uploaded a sentimental post with photographs of his pregnant wife before the birth of their newborn son.

The two-time Grammy winner was photographed in his carousel hugging and kissing Hailey, who was dressed in a form-fitting red little dress that highlighted her growing baby belly.
