Sometimes familial secrets spill out. At least that’s how it looked when Woody Harrelson stated that a chat with Matthew McConaughey’s mother led him to believe the two were brothers.
There are worse revelations a guy can have.

I mean, the two actors have a genuine bromance, which is delightful to observe.

They may have seen it as more than a friendship.

In reality, it might be more than just skin deep.

McConaughey earlier stated in an interview that his mother revealed a little information that the two guys immediately picked up on.

He explained: “A few years ago, we were sitting around talking about how close we are to our families. My mother appears and says, ‘Woody, I know your dad.’ Everyone was aware of the ellipses my mother used after the word “know.” It was a loaded K.N.E.W.

As a result, Harrelson became convinced that they were blood-related.

I mean, come on. Take a look at their appearance and the way they communicate. If there’s no connection between them, what’s the matter?

We’re going to need Maury Povich to get them to take a DNA test ASAP.

Anyway, when questioned about the rumor while doing media rounds for his upcoming series White House Plumbers, Harrelson indicated it may be true.

“We had a conversation with Matthew’s biological mother, Ma’ Mac, who confirmed this information once.” “I mean, this is crazy,” the 63-year-old stated, repeating McConaughey’s account.

“We were in Greece watching the US team win the World Cup, and I am not sure whether I mentioned anything about regrets.

And I responded, ‘You know, it’s strange that my father has no regrets.'”

“I have known Ma’ Mac for a long time, and she says, ‘I knew…your father’.” The phrase “I knew your father” struck me as particularly uncomfortable or fascinating.

If this doesn’t convince you that it’s real, here’s what he said next, which is incredible.

Harrelson went further: “The year of [McConaughey’s] birth, nine months before, she was on a sabbatical from her relationship with his supposed father, Jim.”

After doing some research, McConaughey, 54, stated, “We went on to unpack what this ‘knew’ meant, did some math, and found out that [Harrelson’s] dad was on furlough at the same time that my mom and dad were going through their second divorce.”

“Then there are possible receipts and places out in West Texas where there might have been a gathering, a meeting, or a ‘knew’ moment.”

All of this led to Harrelson advising that the couple have a DNA test to check whether they are indeed related. Wouldn’t you want to know?
Not everyone felt the same way; McConaughey was slightly more hesitant about the whole affair.

“Look, it’s a little easier for Woody to say, ‘Come on, let’s do [DNA tests],’ because what’s the skin in it for him?” He said.

“It’s a little more difficult for me because he’s asking me to take a chance and say, ‘Wait a minute, you’re telling me my dad may not be my father after 53 years of believing that?'” “I am more invested in the outcome.”
