Imagine The Voice’s amazement when they heard a 1960 French pop classic performed by youthful singing star “Riley.”

The song, whose title translates as “No, I Regret Nothing,” seems mature for such a young artist, but he caught the passion of the words with his strong, melodic voice, which captivated the audience. His performance tape has gone viral.

This children’s version of the iconic talent show The Voice is popular worldwide and produced in a variety of languages and nations. If you’re unfamiliar, the initial step is known as blind auditions, as opposed to shows such as America’s Got Talent or American Idol. Famous visitors, known as coaches instead of judges, sit in seats facing away from the artist, emphasizing the importance of the voice.

If a coach loves a vocalist, he or she can push a button to swivel their chair, indicating that they want to work with that contender and guide them through the season’s next stages. When two or more judges hit their buttons and turn their chairs at the same moment, the singer gets to pick which artist they want as their coach.

The blind audition stage concludes when all of the coaches have paired up with a certain number of hopefuls. In the children’s edition of the show, vocalists only use their first names. Imagine Riley’s pleasure when Willi.i.am turned his chair first and walked up to the stage.

“Where are we flying to?” he asked Riley, who was wearing airline pilot’s attire, complete with a pilot’s cap and aviator sunglasses.

“Where would you like to go?” a coy Riley inquired with the elegance of a pro, causing the crowd and judges to giggle.

“You sang amazingly,” the singer will say. I told him. The audience applauded enthusiastically, indicating complete agreement.

Coach Danny Jones asked the same query as the rest of us. “Why are you dressed like a pilot?”

“Because I think it sort of shows off my personality and my love for aviation,” the ten-year-old added, “which is why I want to create my own airline, called Riley Airways, when I grow up.”

“Bless him,” exclaimed coach Pixie Lott, visibly affected by the young man’s abilities. We couldn’t have said it better ourselves.
