Man spends $2 million a year to lower his biological age demonstrates how he does 20,000 sit-ups in 30 minutes

A guy is committed to preserving his youth and has spent millions of dollars to turn back the years, most notably with a gadget that allows him to perform the equivalent of a heck of a workout.

Bryan Johnson, 46, has already spent an astounding $2 million to stay young, or at least seem young.

Johnson has been open about trying experimental medical techniques to reverse his aging.

Johnson, who frequently posts on social media, shared a contraption that allows him to complete a workout similar to ‘20,000 sit-ups’ in only 30 minutes.

Yeah, that wasn’t a typo: 20,000, which would be a daunting feat for even the healthiest individual to do in a week, let alone less than an hour.

You can watch him use his sit-up machine here:

He claims that the regimen, known as Project Blueprint, has given him the lung capacity and fitness of an 18-year-old. Regardless of your perspective, this achievement is truly remarkable.

Johnson collaborated with a team of 30 physicians to constantly examine every aspect of his physique and fitness levels in his quest to turn back the clock.

However, as you might expect, attempting to reverse your biological age is a difficult process, and it’s unclear how efficiently and stably this may be accomplished.

Johnson will work out for at least an hour every day, with three high-intensity exercises each week.

Part of his training program includes the sophisticated equipment you see him using in the video above, which he claims puts his body through the equivalent of 20,000 sit-ups in half an hour.

In the video, Johnson says, “What it feels like is pulling your entire stomach out.” “It’s like ripping it out.”

After the machine finishes its work, he states, “I expected it to be quite painful after doing this, but I’m not.” Surprisingly.

“But I would say my midsection has never felt stronger in my life, and it does change how I feel athletically.”

In addition to his workout routine, Johnson eats a strict vegan diet of 1,977 calories a day.

He falls asleep at the same time each day due to his sleep pattern, which involves wearing special blue light spectacles for two hours.

If he doesn’t follow through, all this effort is in vain.

According to Bloomberg, Johnson must undergo numerous medical treatments each month, some of which are extremely harsh and unpleasant.

Johnson spoke openly about his ambitions in a Medium essay last year.

“With my world-class team of doctors, researchers, and clinicians, if I can reverse my measured biological age by 1.01 years for every year that passes, that is evidence that we have reached the first stage of aging escape velocity where life expectancy increases faster than passed time,” wrote the author.

“As for the magic pill, it appears that for the foreseeable future, achieving and maintaining peak wellness is just going to be a lot of really hard work.”
