While celebrity and popularity can be a lot of fun (imagine unending streams of money, glitzy red carpet parties, and mixing with society’s elite), life in the public eye comes with its fair share of scrutiny and judgment.Paris Hilton has had firsthand experience with this throughout her life in the spotlight.
Recently, the reality TV star turned businesswoman found herself defending her 9-month-old son, Phoenix Barron, when unfavorable remarks about his head size surfaced on h
Cruel trolls prey on Paris Hilton’s son Paris and her husband, Carter Reum, had their baby Phoenix earlier this year with the help of a surrogate (Carter has a daughter named Evie from a prior relationship). They have navigated the joys and hardships of parenthood with love and devotion as new parents.
The young family visited New York some months ago, when Paris shared a photo of herself cuddling her son. People in the comments section said some rather harsh things regarding Phoenix’s skull size. Comments such as “Man, you’ve got a lot of thoughts up there” and “I heard this baby was created in a lab.” And she didn’t carry it,” others said, adding their own unpleasant comments.
In response to the unjustified criticism, Paris stated emphatically, “There are some sick people in this world.” My angel is completely healthy. And, of course, he’s seen a doctor; he just has a big brain.” “[My parents] are just so obsessed with him,” she added. I’m constantly phoning my mother and sister [Nicky Hilton] for advice, and I’m very fortunate to be so close to my family, so I have such a large support network.”
Paris has demonstrated that she is undeterred by the negative comments she has received from trolls. In fact, she recently turned to Instagram to share photographs and a beautiful video of Phoenix dressed as the Cookie Monster from Sesame Street. “I think I have a thing for baby costumes.” “I can’t help myself!” she wrote in the caption of her Instagram image.
“Do you like that?” Paris could be heard saying behind the camera in the footage. Yeah? That would be you.” Many people sent nice remarks about Phoenix the star in the comments section, with one person commenting, “His sweet face is so precious and looks just like his momma!!” What a CHARM!!!” His outfit, on the other hand, drew the most praise: “That looks like the most cozy Cookie Monster ever!”
Others commended Paris, saying, “I always knew Paris would make a great mother and wife someday.” “You inspire me!” said another. And your child is a guardian angel. “It’s stunning.” What do you think of Paris Hilton’s resolve to ignore the haters? Tell us in the comments!
