After failing to identify his ex-wife, Demi Moore, Bruce Willis allegedly left her distraught.

A source told Closer that the Disclosure actress, who has three children with Willis, paid a visit to her ex-husband after her summer vacation in Italy.

“Demi could tell he really didn’t recognize her,” they explained to the site.

Despite keeping in touch with the Die Hard star’s current wife, Emma Heming, Demi “had no idea he’d gone so far downhill,” according to the informant.

In March 2022, Willis received a diagnosis of aphasia, a language impairment characterized by communication difficulties. His family has stated that the actor will be retiring from performing.

The actor, 68, was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia earlier this year, which causes “unusual behaviors, emotional problems, trouble communicating, difficulty with work, or difficulty walking,” according to the National Institute of Health.

Despite their divorce, Willis and Moore are considered one of Hollywood’s golden couples due to their long-standing affection for each other.

After a four-month courtship, the couple married in 1987 and had three children: Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah.
