Giada De Laurentiis isn’t the only prominent member of the family.
Over the weekend, the Food Network veteran and her ex-husband, Todd Thompson, attended their daughter Jade’s high school musical performance. According to a joint Instagram post by De Laurentiis and Thompson, the high school sophomore was performing in the performance Working. “#proudparents,” they captioned it.
The couple, who divorced in 2014, were all smiling in a sweet shot with their daughter. They also provided a video of the 15-year-old singing a song, followed by a photo of her making a kissy face and carrying a bunch of flowers following her performance.

In 2022, the Italian-born chef, who is married to boyfriend Shane Farley, told people that Jade attends a high school with a “less academic and more artsy” curriculum. The adolescent had previously performed in school musicals such as Matilda and attended theater camp. She also plays in a band.
Jade has demonstrated culinary capabilities in addition to her creative abilities.
In August, Jade created De Laurentiis, a handmade chocolate cake, to celebrate her mother’s 53rd birthday. The entire procedure was captured in a clean and amusing Instagram video.
Jade claimed in the video that her mother requests a chocolate cake “every year,” therefore she was attempting to prepare a chocolate and strawberry treat.
“I’d say my skill set is up to boxed mac and cheese, so we’ll see how this goes,” Jade remarked, referring to a Mother’s Day present of Annie’s Mac and Cheese she cooked in 2022.
Jade tossed out egg yolks that she should have saved and required her mother’s aid in recognizing a sifter, so the procedure wasn’t altogether seamless. Despite her lack of confidence, the finished product received wonderful reviews from the Giadzy creator.
