There are moments in life when we are upset because we cannot afford that new phone or a lovely vacation. Unfortunately, we are unaware that there are individuals who live on the border of poverty and would do everything to have the things we have, which is why we should never take things for granted and be grateful for the life we have.

Angel David was turning eight years old. He had never celebrated his birthday as his peers did, with a cake or a party. His mother didn’t want to have a nice party for her kid; she just couldn’t afford it.

This year, however, was different. Angel’s instructor and students realized he had never had a party before, so they decided to arrange one for him.

They were all gathered inside the classroom, waiting for Angel.

The cute child was taken aback when he opened the door and heard everyone singing Happy Birthday to him. He couldn’t suppress his excitement and erupted into tears of joy.

Some may consider this a little gesture, but it meant the world to a youngster who had never had a birthday party in his life.
